Hello and thanks

Hello.

Some of you know me as the one who’s always taking pictures, trying to shoot good video, or asking “are you following them on Facebook?”

Just think of me as the unofficial third member of the duo, if that’s even possible. My name is Marissa, and I’m a social media junkie. They say the first step is admitting you have a problem, right?

Doug, who happens to be my husband, and Eve, who I am just getting to know, have been very patient with me, reigning me in when necessary, but acquiescing every once in a while when I make a request about the need for more pictures or more PR.

Doug and Eve believe in building their audience organically: if people like what they hear, they will come back to hear some more. I agree, but as a marketer by trade, I think you can’t rely on the “build it and they will come” strategy. I believe you have to build it and then make it easy for people to find it and come.

So my goal today is to make one request: if you like what you hear from Doug and Eve, bring your friends and spread the word. Share the Facebook page and events, follow them on Instagram.

follow&share

Thank you to all our friends, colleagues, and community members who have come out to hear them play at venues like The Colonial Tavern, Bistro Bethem, and Spencer Devon. We really appreciate your support and it means a lot to us.  We hope to see you again soon.
